Terms of use
The short, honest version — not a wall of borrowed boilerplate.
What this site is
DTC Finds is an editorial directory. We publish information and opinion about third-party stores. We do not sell products, take payments, arrange shipping, or handle returns. When you buy from a store listed here, your contract is with that store, not with us.
Accuracy
We check listings before publishing them, and we try to keep them current, but stores change their policies without telling us. Shipping times, returns windows and payment methods can be out of date. Verify the terms on the store’s own site before you pay. Nothing here is a guarantee about what a merchant will do.
Editorial opinion
Scores and judgements are our opinion, formed from public information and published policy pages. They are not statements of fact about product quality and they are not consumer ratings. If you disagree with one, tell us why — see the report form.
Merchant listings
If you are the operator of a listed store, you may request correction or removal at any time, for any reason, and we will action it within seven days. We may also remove a store ourselves if we conclude it no longer meets the standards in our editorial policy.
Your submissions
By submitting a store or a claim you confirm the information is accurate and that you are authorised to speak for that store. We may verify claims by contacting the address on the store’s own domain.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from purchases you make from third-party merchants, or from reliance on information that has since become out of date. This does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.
Intellectual property
The text and design of this site are ours. Store names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used descriptively to identify the entity being discussed. We do not use merchant photography or merchant product copy.
